I have to keep reminding myself the current draft is a zero draft. If most of my wordcount for an evening consists of telling rather than showing, it's okay. I know that I will have to replace a lot of that wordcount with actual scenes of dialogue and action. Right now, it doesn't matter. I'm figuring out a lot of things on [virtual] paper.
